Your time tracking data is protected through:

• Local encryption: All sensitive data is encrypted on your device
• Device security: Your data is protected by your device's security features (passcode, biometric authentication)
• No server storage: Since your time tracking data never leaves your device, it cannot be intercepted or accessed by third parties
• No data breaches: We cannot be breached for data we don't have

We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer your time tracking data to anyone. Period.

Since all your time tracking information is stored locally on your device, we have no access to it and therefore cannot share it with third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.

• Full ownership: All data stays on your device under your control
• Deletion: Deleting the app removes all your data from your device
• No remote access: We cannot access, modify, or delete your data remotely

• Location information is never transmitted to our servers
• You can disable location tracking at any time through app or device settings
• Location data is used solely to enhance your time tracking experience locally

If you choose to integrate HourSense with your calendar, the app will access calendar events only on your device to provide time tracking synchronization. We do not upload calendar information to our servers, modify your calendar remotely, or share calendar data with third parties. You can revoke calendar access at any time through your device's settings.

8. Backups and Data Transfer

Your data may be included in device backups (e.g., iCloud, Google Drive) according to your device settings. These backups are controlled by you and your device's operating system, not by HourSense. We recommend keeping backups enabled to prevent data loss if you change devices.

9. Children's Privacy

HourSense is not intended for children under 13 years of age. Since we don't collect personal information from our users, we do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Third-Party Services

HourSense may use third-party services for analytics or crash reporting (anonymized data only). These services do NOT have access to your time tracking data. Any links to third-party websites or services are not controlled by us, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or via email (if you have provided one). The updated policy will always be available within the app and on our website.

12. Legal Compliance

Since we do not collect or store your time tracking data on our servers, we are not in a position to disclose your time tracking information to law enforcement or government agencies, even if requested. Your data remains on your device under your control.
